About the scholarship
The Peters Township Education Foundation will grant one scholarship each spring to a graduating senior of the Peters Township High School in the amount of $500 in honor of Mr. Matthew Cheran. A beloved teacher at Peters Township Middle School, Mr. Cheran served as the President of the PTEF for more than 12 years. Upon his retirement, the scholarship was initiated in his honor to assist students with post-graduation pursuits who show strong moral character, positive attitude and dedication to their school.
